Scott has been practicing architecture for 16 years and is one of the three partners of Johnson Architects. His career has allowed in-depth experience in many different areas of architecture giving Scott a diverse background in different building types and uses. One of his best strengths is his ability to work through complex projects by holding simple conversations with our clients. Formulating the best method for solving the problem from listening and digesting the complexity first, then finding the appropriate solution that suits the specific needs of our client.
Scott prides himself on holding the bar high not only for himself but for the entire company. He is responsible for quality control of our contract documents. He reviews and grades each of our projects before they leave our office and holds in-person quality reviews with our clients during each project to ensure that Johnson Architects is exceeding our clients’ expectations.
Scott is originally from the San Diego area but spent summers in Idaho as a child visiting his grandparents and fell in love with the area. Upon graduation from college, Scott moved with his family to Boise and has been here ever since. He enjoys coaching and umpiring baseball with the local youth leagues and studying Christian theology where he is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Theology at Trinity Theological Seminary.
